Moose Jaw North
Tim was first elected as the MLA for Moose Jaw North in the 2020 provincial election.
Born and raised in Martensville, Tim attended the University of Saskatchewan, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2000 and a Juris Doctor in Law in 2004. Following law school, he became Director of a restorative justice project, facilitating sentencing conferences for high-risk youth in the criminal justice system.
Tim practiced law at Chow McLeod, Barristers and Solicitors in Moose Jaw from 2005 to 2023. He also served as Chair of the Prairie South School Board, as a member of the University of Saskatchewan Senate, on the Board of Governors for the Saskatchewan Trial Lawyers Association, and as President of the Moose Jaw and Area Bar Association.
Since his election, Tim has held several key roles, including Provincial Secretary, Legislative Secretary to the Premier, and Government Representative on the Provincial Capital Commission and the Wakamow Valley Authority Board. He has served on the Public Sector Bargaining Committee, the Standing Committee on Intergovernmental Affairs and Justice, and as a member of the Treasury Board.
In September 2023, Tim was appointed Minister of Mental Health and Addictions, Seniors, and Rural and Remote Health. In November 2024, he was appointed Minister of Justice and Attorney General, Minister of Corrections, Policing and Public Safety, and responsible for the Firearms Secretariat. As of December 2025, he continues to serve as Minister of Justice and Attorney General, Minister responsible for the Firearms Secretariat, and Government House Leader in the Assembly.
Tim has always enjoyed volunteering as a coach for his children’s sports teams and supporting various community activities. He and his wife, Tenielle, have three children and live in Moose Jaw North, where they remain active in local organizations.
