People in Saskatchewan living with cystic fibrosis (CF) are now eligible for Alyftrek, a medication that improves lung function. As of August 1st, coverage of Alyftrek is now available to CF patients ages six and older who meet the medical criteria. The drug is effective for patients who have one of 266 different rare genetic mutations causing CF.
