The latest labour force numbers from Statistics Canada’s show that the labour market in Saskatchewan remains strong with 15,000 full time jobs added year-over-year. Saskatchewan’s unemployment rate of five per cent is the lowest amongst provinces and well below the national average of 6.7 per cent. Saskatchewan’s seasonally adjusted employment growth rate was also second among provinces (0.9 per cent), increasing by 5,800 from the previous month.
