Results from a pilot project launched in January 2025 allowing participating pharmacists to conduct point-of-care testing for strep throat and assess for ear infections, delivered over 3,000 services across Saskatchewan. This demonstrates the value of expanding pharmacists’ roles in providing accessible frontline care.
