Terry Jenson

Warman

Terry Jenson was first elected as the MLA for Warman in the 2020 provincial election and re-elected in 2024. 

 

Since being elected, he has been a member of the Standing Committees on Human Services, Crown and Central Agencies and the Economy. He also served as the Legislative Secretary to the Minister of Social Services and as Legislative Secretary to the Minister of Immigration and Career Training. He has served in cabinet as Minister of SaskBuilds and Procurement, and Minister responsible for the Global Transportation Hub Authority and Provincial Archives of Saskatchewan. 

 

Terry currently serves as Minister of Social Services. 

 

Together with his wife, Terry owned a community newspaper covering the Martensville-Warman area from its establishment in 2008 until it was sold in 2024. He is the past-president of the Saskatchewan Weekly Newspapers Association and past-president of Ad Canada Media Inc. Prior to his 26 years in the community newspaper industry, Terry worked on-air at radio stations in North Battleford and Prince Albert. 

 

In addition to his professional life, Terry is a former Kinsmen Club member, a retired Saskatchewan Hockey Association referee, an auxiliary constable with the RCMP and he holds a private pilot’s license. In the winter months, Terry has been a coach for his son’s minor hockey teams and is a proud “cheerleading dad” for his daughter. In the summer months, he plays golf and spends time fishing and boating at the family cabin.

 

Terry and his wife have two children.
