Terry Jenson

Warman

Terry Jenson was first elected as the MLA for Martensville-Warman in the 2020 provincial election and was re-elected in 2024 in the constituency of Warman. Since being elected, he has served on several Standing Committees, including Human Services (also as Chair), Crown and Central Agencies, and the Economy. He has also served as Legislative Secretary to the Minister of Social Services and to the Minister of Immigration and Career Training.

He first entered Cabinet in May 2024 as Minister of SaskBuilds and Procurement, as well as Minister responsible for the Global Transportation Hub Authority and the Provincial Archives of Saskatchewan. Terry currently serves as Minister of Social Services and Minister responsible for the Saskatchewan Housing Corporation.

Together with his wife Angela, Terry owned the Clark’s Crossing Gazette, a community newspaper covering the Martensville-Warman area, from its establishment in 2008. He was a small business owner-operator for nearly 29 years and is the past president of the Saskatchewan Weekly Newspapers Association and Ad Canada Media Inc. Prior to his 26 years in the community newspaper industry, Terry worked on the air at radio stations in North Battleford and Prince Albert.

In addition to his professional life, Terry is a former Kinsmen Club member, a retired Saskatchewan Hockey Association referee, and an auxiliary constable with the RCMP. He also holds a private pilot’s license. In the winter months, he volunteers as a coach for his son’s minor hockey teams and is a proud “cheerleading dad” for his daughter. In the summer, he enjoys playing golf, fishing, and boating at the family cabin.

Terry and Angela have two children and have proudly called Warman home for the past 19 years.
