Jeremy Harrison

Jeremy grew up in the Meadow Lake area and graduated from Carpenter High School in 1996. He holds a degree in Political Science and Canadian History from the University of Alberta, a Master’s in Public Administration from the Johnson Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy, and a Juris Doctor (Law) degree from the University of Saskatchewan.
Jeremy was elected to the House of Commons in 2004 at the age of 26, becoming one of the youngest Canadians ever to sit in Parliament. Three years later, in 2007, he was elected to the Saskatchewan Legislature – making him the youngest Canadian to serve in both federal and provincial legislatures.
Jeremy has held several key roles in government, including Minister of Trade and Export Development, Minister of Immigration and Career Training, Minister of Municipal Affairs, Minister of the Economy and Minister responsible for multiple agencies including the Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority, Global Transportation Hub and SaskPower. He also served as Government House Leader and chaired the cabinet committee on Government Operations.
Currently, Jeremy serves as Minister of Crown Investments Corporation, Minister Responsible for the Public Service Commission and Minister responsible for SaskEnergy, SGI, SaskTel, SaskWater and Saskatchewan Lotteries and Gaming.
Jeremy and his wife have two children.
