Ms. Doreen Eagles

Doreen Eagles was born in Midale, Saskatchewan and grew up in the Macoun-Estevan area on the family farm. Doreen received her education in Macoun, and later married Vic Eagles and began their own family farming operation. Doreen and Vic have two children: Terry and Trisha, both who have married and are raising families of their own. Widowed in 2008, Doreen continues to live on her farm, where she enjoys spending time with her four grandchildren.
Doreen has always had a strong interest in the political way of life and has been involved at both the federal and provincial level. She was first elected as an MLA for the Saskatchewan Party in the general election on September 16th, 1999, and was re-elected in 2003, 2007, and 2011.
She has served as Caucus Chair since the Saskatchewan Party formed government. Doreen is also the Caucus Liaison to Cabinet, Chair of the Management Committee, a member of the New Ideas Committee, a member of Privileges House Committee and a member of Board of Internal Economy.
In her spare time Doreen is an avid reader, gardener, and loves to travel.
