Jeremy Harrison spent a happy childhood growing up in the Meadow Lake area and graduated from Carpenter High School in 1996. Mr. Harrison went on to complete an undergraduate degree in Political Science and Canadian History from the University of Alberta, graduating in 2001. Mr. Harrison subsequently attended the University of Saskatchewan and graduated with a Bachelor of Laws degree in 2004.

During his university years Mr. Harrison was very active in politics. He was elected at the age of 21 to the National Council of the Canadian Alliance - the top governing body of that Party. In this role Mr. Harrison played an active and significant role in the promotion and implementation of the merger of the Progressive Conservative Party and the Canadian Alliance - creating the new Conservative Party of Canada in 2004.

Mr. Harrison was successfully elected to Parliament on June 28th, 2004 and at the age of 26 became one of the youngest Canadians ever to sit in the House of Commons. During his term Mr. Harrison became the second youngest vice-chair of a House of Commons Standing Committee in history and the youngest Canadian to ever chair a meeting of a Standing Committee of the House of Commons.

Subsequent to the 2006 election Mr. Harrison served as a senior advisor in the federal Government.

Mr. Harrison and his wife Alaina have since returned to Saskatchewan and Mr. Harrison is currently practicing law.  Mr. Harrison was first elected to the legislature in 2007.  After the Saskatchewan Party formed government, Premier Brad Wall asked Mr. Harrison to serve as Legislative Secretary to the Minister of Energy and Resources, Northern Resources and Oil Sands Development.  Mr. Harrison is also currently a member of the caucus' Standing Policy Committee on the Economy and is also a member of the legislature's Standing Committee on the Economy, as well as the committee on Public Accounts.
